HIIT Pilates; taking it to the next level
Pilates has been around for longer than, well… most of us but it has been a form of exercise that has more often than not been a trending topic. Founded by Joseph Pilates in the early twentieth century, it was introduced under the belief that the body and mind are one. The inspiration to develop a form of exercise that incorporates both physical and mental practices came from Joseph’s parents. His father was a gymnast and his mother, a naturopath.
So what exactly are the benefits of Pilates?
- Hones in your focus

Yes, we know what Pilates is but what is HIIT Pilates?
HIIT Pilates is a form of classical Pilates which also focuses on building your cardio fitness. It’s a great way to get an all-in-one workout as it activates smaller muscle groups throughout your body to give you a full-body workout whilst getting your sweat on. HIIT Pilates is for anybody that wants to do Pilates but also wants to increase their fitness. It focuses on all areas of the body, aiming to tone your whole body. Plus, it’s for all fitness levels!
